THE FIRST REVIEWS OF RESURRECTION IN RETROSPECT and THE RECONSTRUCTION OF RESURRECTION BELIEF may be found in the two most recent numbers of The Journal of Anglican Studies. These are by Stephen Platten. They provide a very comprehensive survey of the content of these two books. There is one small typo: "monastic" on the first page of the first review should be "monistic"; but I am very appreciative of these reviews. Stephen Platten has got to the essence of the argument with great clarity.
